Jim Andrews
Hello, my name’s Jim Andrews, and I’m Managing Director of IRR’s Caribbean office. I focus on valuations and consulting for commercial, resort, and residential properties in this market. I’ve specialized in appraisals since 1987 and have worked in the Cayman Islands since 1997. I joined IRR in 2009, when I began working with the company’s Charlotte office on projects involving Caribbean property. Prior to that, I was a partner at Andrews Key Ltd., a Caribbean-region valuation and consulting firm. I earned my bachelor of business administration degree from Belmont University. I also hold the Appraisal Institute’s MAI designation and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors’ Fellow designation (FRICS). I am involved with the local RICS chapter, and also serve on the RICS Americas Valuation Council.
I have a wife and two young boys, and enjoy scuba diving on the odd occasions when work and family commitments allow. I am actually a certified PADI instructor, and sometimes teach friends and visiting house guests the sport of scuba. My work takes me throughout the Caribbean, and I truly enjoy the diversity that the islands in this region are blessed with.
